Wine bacteria Elios Alto®

Elios Alto® is a lactic bacteria selected by ICV to perform malolactic fermentation in red, white and rosé wines.


The advantages of Elios Alto® :

  • Works with all wines
  • adapted to low pH (up to 3.2) and to high levels of alcohol (even above 15.5°)


Elios Alto® is characterized by a short lag phase that demonstrates good implantation capacity which ensures a secure malo – lactic fermentation.


It is presented under the 1-step® process (bacteria to be re-acclimatized in the presence of the bacteria activator included, except when co – inoculation is performed).
