Easily master the turbidity of your musts!

LeMIX is a unique and original blend of microcrystalline cellulose and natural yeast hulls (from Saccharomyces cerevisiae). This is a new oenological solution to control turbidity during the fermentation of musts.

LeMIX is the result of 2 years of R&D by the ICV Group to select the interesting components and determine the ideal proportions.

Provided in 10 kg bags to treat about 300 hL dosed at 30 g/ hL.


Why use LeMIX?

  • To readjust turbidity after clarification in a few minutes!
    We measured a constant and linear impact:with an addition of 10 g/hL of LeMIX  to generate a turbidity increase of 25 to 30 NTU.
  • For its sensory effect: lower herbaceous sensation, less aggressiveness, more ripe fruit.

When to use LeMIX?

On all musts, after clarification (cold settling, flotation, centrifugation…), especially when the operations of readjustment of turbidity with light white pectic flakes are complicated to implement.

LeMIX works very well also on thermovinification juices, where there is no ideal alternative solution when you want to ferment with higher turbidities.

LeMIX is generally added when filling the fermentation tanks.
